COVID-19 Closures and Operational Status Updates
Broward County Landfill – As a result of potential impacts of COVID-19, beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, the Broward County Landfill will only be open Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM until further notice. For more information, customers should refer to our website at www.broward.org/waste or call our customer service hotline at (954) 765-4999. See alternate disposal facilities.
Residential Drop-off Centers – The Broward County Residential Drop-off Centers are accepting Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics ONLY from participating municipalities on Saturdays, from 9AM to 3PM. Bulk Trash and Yard Waste services will be resuming for participating municipalities ONLY based on an alternating schedule at the three (3) Residential Drop-off Centers starting Saturday, November 7, 2020. Broward Municipal Services District – Solid waste and recycling residential and commercial collections remain fully operational. All community cleanup events have been canceled until further notice.
